   Because the games that are being played for cash prizes and are games of skill and not games of chance, it is legal. However, there are 9 states within the United States where the participation in skill-based video game tournaments for cash prizes is considered illegal. If you live in the following states, you may not play for cash prizes on Acidxgaming.com. Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont.
